Huge sea lion made its way onto Chilean streets

A huge sea lion found its way onto the streets in Tome, Chile on June 15.

Cars can be seen slowing down around the huge mammal, which in turn appears to be quite relaxed.

Rodrigo Toro, who filmed the video, said the animals sometimes venture further from the beach in search for food.

The South American sea lion is one of six species of sea lion that currently inhabit the earth, and is native to Chile.

Tome is located 18.6 miles (30 km) north of Concepción, and about 310.7 (500 km) south of the Andean nation’s capital, Santiago.
