Sometimes shortcuts can backfire, and in this case it ends up in disaster. Luckily nobody was hurt, which is more than we can say for the truck.
The bridges in Brazil are not held to the highest standards, as this driver finds out. The driver gets out to inspect the wooden bridge to assess its strength. Despite being broken in several place, and slightly crooked the truck driver decides to give it a go.
You may guess what happens next. A few feet from the opposite end of the bridge the bridge snaps, pulling the truck into the ravine.
So much for the shortcut being a time saver! Did we mention the trashed car was a Mercedes…epic fail.
