A Humpback whale is swimming around in New York City.

The big mammal was first seen on Monday spouting water and has been spotted every day so far this week.

It’s not the first time a whale swam into this part of the Hudson River. New Yorkers also saw one back in 2016.

They follow swarms of fish, feeding on them.

But it’s a danger zone for the hefty whales who have to share these waters with big boats.

NTD talked to a New York-based whale advocacy group about the sighting.

She says her organization is excited to see this whale in the area. They’re asking mariners to watch out and go slow so everyone can get around freely.
