A Chinese woman who was caught at the U.S.-Mexico border told NTD Television about her narrowly escaped journey coming to the United States on Thursday.
“We walked through a rain forest, climbed mountains, taking one step at a time just to get here,” said the woman.
“All of my papers were taken, right on the bus on my way here,” she said, “in Mexico, they took about 20,000 RMB ($2,800) worth of stuff. The gift my daughter gave me was robbed.”
