Awesome photos of big dogs and children having the time of their lives

Dogs and children make a wonderful team. Playful, good-natured and loyal. With unbounded energy, they fill the world with fun and nothing can come in between a child and his or her dog.

Is it not the best feeling seeing your children run along the seashore with the dogs, or when they come home from school their pets welcome them back?  Looking so content when cuddled up together by the fireplace on a cold winter’s night is such pleasure. Teaching children how to care for another being is also a great way to help them take responsibility.  Pet training is also educational and getting your child to teach his or her dog all kinds of tricks will keep anyone amused for hours on end. There is also the security in knowing your pet dog will guard and defend you with his life.

It does not matter what the dog’s appearance might be, whether big or small, as long as they can run and play with one another, that is what is important.

There are some really huge dogs, but children don’t seem to care as long as the dog is friendly.

Photographer Andy Seliverstoff took awesome photos of big dogs and children having the time of their lives.

Enjoy!

The 58-year-old photographer hopes to destigmatize the fear people have towards bigger breeds.

“We only took photos with dogs that have a stable mind and good temperament, as these dogs are open to bonding with both people and children,” says Seliverstoff. “I’m just trying to achieve and convey the mutual contact between a child and their dog.”

Seliverstoff says the idea for the book came when friends asked him to photograph their two-year-old daughter with the family’s Great Dane.
