Infections Rise but Delta Variant Is Dominant: Data

Data released Friday shows the number of COVID-19 infections going up in the UK. But whilst attention and restrictions are focused on Omicron and how to contain it, it is the Delta variant that is causing the infection figures to rise. The World Health Organization says Omicron appears to be very transmissible, but the right response is to be prepared, cautious, and not panic.
