U.S. microchip maker Intel is trying to keep its operations in China, as the Senate voted to move ahead with a semiconductor subsidy bill. It’s part of efforts to counter China’s weapons and technology development. Under the bill, companies have to follow certain rules in order to get benefits. One of them is to keep factory operations out of China.
