Intense Security, Media Presence Outside Manhattan Criminal Courthouse Ahead of Trump Arraignment

Security measures and a persistent media presence surrounded the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse where Former President Donald Trump is set to appear for his arraignment on April 4. Trump is expected to appear at the courthouse around 1 p.m. ET for his 2:15 p.m. appearance before the judge. However, helicopter sightings at around 7 a.m. suggested the former president may appear in the morning. No TV cameras will be allowed in the courtroom with Trump’s lawyers pushing for that restriction as it would exacerbate an already “circus-like atmosphere.”
