International Space Station shares images of Cyclone Debbie’s path

Cyclone Debbie hit landfall in Queensland, Australia. Images of the incident were captured from the International Space Station.

The cyclone was classified as Category 4, one level below the most dangerous classification. Winds up to 160 miles per hour were recorded near landfall. The cyclone calmed as it ventured inland, becoming a Category 2.

There hasn’t been any human casualties, but there was extensive property damage. The cyclone smashed tourist resorts, flattened canefields, and shut down coal mines in one day of action.
