New data shows that U.S. inflation rates have eased but still remain well above the Federal Reserve’s target.
According to the personal consumption expenditures index (PCE), prices rose 6 percent in October from 2021, the smallest increase since November of last year and down from a 6.3 percent year-over-year rise in September.
