Israeli government spokesperson Eylon Levy said in a Wednesday video statement that his country’s leadership is demanding the Red Cross pursue “every avenue” to gain access to hostages held by the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza, and to treat them medically.
“Israel demands that the Red Cross pressure Hamas to secure access to the hostages in its terror dungeons,” he said. “It’s just not good enough to say that that won’t work.”
