Israel stood in solidarity with Russia after 11 died in a subway explosion in St. Petersburg on April 3.

Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality lit up its building with the colors of both the Russian and the Israeli flags in commemoration of lives lost.

“I think it is a very nice gesture what Tel Aviv city did for the Russian people. We experienced this kind of terror attacks quite often and we know what it feels right now for the Russian people, so we hope the Russian people will be strong and come back to the life routine very fast.”
