Japan Adopts Resolution on Human Rights in China

Japan’s parliament is taking up a new resolution.

The legislation takes aim at what it calls the “serious human rights situation” in China.

Adopted Tuesday by the lower chamber—it asks the Japanese government to take steps to relieve the situation.
