Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said in a telephone conference on Thursday, April 6, that he agreed with U.S. President Donald Trump that North Korea’s latest ballistic missile launch was “a dangerous provocation and a serious threat.”
A day before Trump’s meeting with Chinese leader Xi, on Wednesday, (April 5), North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile into the sea off its east coast.
Abe told reporters that he will be “paying close attention to how China would respond to issues of North Korea.” Trump voiced before that China must take further action to curb North Korea’s nuclear and missile development.
