Stress is something we all experience daily, if not hourly. While moderate levels of stress is healthy and good for us, excessive and chronic stress can take a toll on our physical and mental wellbeing. So next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed, remember you can be centered and balanced in less than 5 minutes with this Japanese self-relaxation technique.




According to Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient Japanese practice, each finger represents a different mood and feeling. The goal is to harmonize the opposing energy forces in our body by grasping each finger for 1 minute, or until you feel a pulse.

Thumb

Index finger
