A Tokyo zoo welcomes a new panda cub. Eleven-year-old Shin Shin gave birth to a 150 gram (5.2 ounce) cub five years after her first cub died shortly after birth.

Zookeepers noticed Shin Shin starting to act strange. They monitored her around the clock, before hearing the cries of the newborn cub.

Even members of the Japanese government welcomed the news.
