Joint Session of Congress Debates Arizona

Before violence erupted in the Capitol, the joint session of Congress started to count votes. They were met with their first objection in certifying Arizona’s votes.

The joint session began with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) telling most members to leave the floor and watch from the gallery.
