Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) confronted Secretary of State Antony Blinken about records on COVID-19 research funding on Wednesday at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.
Paul said that the State Department refused to give him the records about COVID-19 research that has been funded by State Department. “We communicated several times over the phone with another assistant secretary of state, who finally sent us a letter and said, ‘no, we’re not going to give you anything,’” he said.
