Kathy Zhu, the pro-Trump beauty queen, tweeted Tuesday morning that flyers had been posted throughout her university campus, calling her a “white supremacist.”

With Zhu’s face shot wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, the flyer reads, “Michigan, we have white supremacists on campus. They can be dangerous.”

The 20-year-old Political Science student and president of the College Republicans at the University of Michigan wrote on her twitter with 162,000 followers that flyers had been posted around campus, “inciting violence” towards her.

“This has been posted around my school at @UMich. This is complete slander and incites violence towards me,” Zhu tweeted on Oct. 22. “Being a Trump supporter does not make me a white supremacist. I’m also Asian if you can’t tell.

Zhu’s tweet was retweeted by Lauren Chen, Blaze TV host, commenting, “People are posting fliers calling @PoliticalKathy a white supremacist & dangerous (LIES!) because they want her targeted. This isn’t “anti-racism activism … It’s slander with the intent of harming someone just for having different views.”

One of the twitter users commented on Zhu’s recent tweet, why didn’t you “laugh that poster off” to which she critically responded, “Maybe because people actually use violence against Trump supporters. Have you not seen the news?”

Zhu was previously stripped of her Miss Michigan World America title for various tweets, accusing her of “being racist, Islamaphobic, and insensitive.”

A week after her dethroning, the “Women for Trump” appointed Zhu as a member of its advisory board.

“I am so excited to be able to join Women for Trump. This is an organization that truly empowers women’s voices and lets us be heard,” Zhu told the Epoch Times. “This is such a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I couldn’t be more blessed. I can’t wait to help our president get elected a 2nd term!”

But later in her July 30 tweet, she wrote that she will not be joining the coalition.

“Now is just not the right time for me since I’m a full-time student & wanna graduate asap,” Zhu tweeted. Her priorities are “1) Education 2) Graduate 3) Secure the bag,” she wrote.

Several Twitter users told Zhu she should report the flyer and request security footage to identify the perpetrators.

Zhu’s personal opinion on “white supremacist” is implied in her earlier tweets in August.

“White supremacists are a problem. Trump supporters are not.”
