After a long international flight, Keanu Reeves gave 14-year-old Alex Katsanos an autograph while waiting at baggage claim, and answered every single one of his questions, spanning from the actor’s plans in New York to his interest in race cars, according to a now-viral tweet.

Producer Andrew Kimmel, who was on the same flight, posted about the heartwarming interaction.

“Why were you in London?” asked Katsanos. “Filming a documentary,” Reeves replied.

“I saw online you were at the Grand Prix,” Katsanos said. “Do you drive?”

“Not F1, but I like riding motorcycles.”

The conversation went on, with the boy asking him how long he would be in the Big Apple and what he would be doing there. Reeves said he planned to see the Broadway show “American Buffalo,” according to Kimmel.

When Katsanos began to run out of questions, Reeves started to ask what the boy had been doing in Europe.

Kimmel wrote, “The man could not have been nicer, especially after an international flight.”

Katsanos told Entertainment Tonight later that week that he thought he recognized the actor when they first boarded the plane.

“The whole flight from London I was thinking about, ‘What if it is him? What should I say? What should I get him to sign?'” Katsanos said.

“It was really a natural conversation,” he added. “[Reeves] was very nice and we had a great conversation for around 10 minutes while we were waiting for our luggage. I still can’t believe I not only got the chance to see him but to have a conversation with him and get his autograph.”

This is not the first time Keanu’s kind gestures have been reported.

Back in 2019, a plane that had been carrying Reeves and other passengers heading to Los Angeles made an emergency landing, in Bakersfield according to Entertainment Weekly. The airport they landed at was unfortunately closed, but they could take two-hour van ride to Los Angeles. Keanu decided to road trip with his fellow passengers, entertaining everyone else by using his phone to share facts about Bakersfield and play native Bakersfield music.
