Kim Kardashian-West is set to visit the White House Wednesday to discuss criminal justice reform, the star announced on Twitter.
The announcement came after President Donald Trump commuted the sentence of three prisoners last month, Tynice Nichole Hall, Crystal Munoz, and Judith Negron, who were granted clemency due to reform.
Kardashian-West will be joined by Alice Marie Johnson, whose life sentence was commuted by Trump in 2018. Kardashian-West has previously met several times with Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner—who has led the White House’s criminal justice reform efforts—urging Trump to pardon Johnson, sign the First Step Act, and reform the clemency process.
The 39-year-old reality star and criminal justice activist took her story to social media, sharing with her nearly 64 million followers that she would be spending the day with “three really deserving women.”

“Today Alice, Crystal, Judith, Tynice and I, along with the @cut_50 team will be at the White House bringing light to these women and discuss more change that our justice system desperately needs!” Kardashian-West tweeted on the morning of March 4 ahead of her meeting with Trump.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star also shared pictures and information about the women on Twitter.
“Crystal Munoz was sentenced to 20 years in prison for conspiracy to posses and distribute marijuana. She left behind a 5-month-old baby and was pregnant,” Kardashian-West wrote. “Crystal was shackled by prison guards during the birth of her second daughter. Her case was highlighted in the First Step Act.”

Kardashian-West also shared a picture of Judith Negron, another released inmate.
“Judith Negron was sentenced to 35 years in prison for conspiracy to commit health care fraud,” the KKW Beauty founder wrote on Twitter. “After trial she received the longest sentence ever given to a female for a white collar crime. A mother, she left behind two young sons. This was Judith’s first ever offense.”
Finally, Kardashian-West shared the story of Tynice Hall, whose sentence was also commuted by Trump.
“Tynice Hall was sentenced to 35 years in prison for a first time non violent drug conspiracy,” she wrote.
“Her boyfriend at the time used her house for his illegal drug activities. She was only 22 years old when she went to prison and left behind a 3-year-old son.”
