Kremlin Admits Significant Russian Losses

President Vladimir Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has admitted Russian troops are suffering significant losses in Ukraine. Observers see this as striking, considering Russia’s Ministry of Defense said on March 25 1,351 of its soldiers had been killed in combat. Ukraine puts the Russian deaths at almost 19,000.

Russia quit the U.N. Human Rights Council after it was suspended Thursday.
