Los Angeles gave the IOC Evaluation Commission the full tour on May 12.

The International Olympic Committee delegation saw presentations on the 10th.

After that, the commission was shown the highlights of the city.

First came a star-studded Hollywood-style party Wednesday night. Sylvester Stallone, Kobe Bryant, and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer showed up.

The next day the commissioners visited the Staples Center, the Memorial Coliseum, and the UCLA campus.

The day ended watching sunset from the beach at Santa Monica pier.

L.A. is bidding against Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympic games.

All these would be venues for various events, should L.A. win its bid.

The commission really was shown the tangled freeway system.

Los Angeles has planned an expansion of it metro, which sweetens its bid a bit.

The Evaluation Committee will be in Paris next week.
