Laws Will Toughen on Phone Use While Driving

The government is announcing plans to change the law for people using their mobile phones whilst driving vehicles. It wants to change loopholes in the current law to stop drivers from using their phones to take photos, make videos, and play mobile games. The transport secretary says the changes will come into effect from early 2022 and bring the law “into the 21st century.”
