It’s birthday celebration time for 5 year old Joshua. It’s not really about celebrating the 5th year of his life, but rather the 1st year of his second chance at life. At age 3, on September 28, 2015, Joshua was diagnosed with an aggressive form of t-cell lymphoma. As part of his therapy, he received a bone marrow transplant on February 26th,2016.
This year, it is his first year after his bone marrow transplant. So he is celebrating his victory with his battle with cancer, and his second chance at life.
