Very often, we see many orphans roaming on the streets to fend for themselves. These children lack proper clothes or food to eat, so in order to survive, they scavenge the left over food dumped around garbage zones – or they are seen begging for food and alms. Really, these are some of the most pathetic and unkind living conditions for any human.
John Benedict and his wife Geo Tolentino Ringor, went to for a having a meal at the Jollibee restaurant in Quezon City of Philippines. The kind-hearted couple also purchased a meal for a street-kid, but what they witnessed after that was truly heart-wrenching.
After finishing the meal and as the couple was coming out of the restaurant, they happened to see the same street kid feeding his little sister. It was a sight which moved the hearts of the couple at the love and affection showered by the street kid to his little sister.
Though the meal would not be sufficient to fill their stomach, they ate the meal with smile and grateful satisfaction. The couple realized the value of giving and sharing which in turn is shared by the street kid.

It is truly wonderful to share with those who really need it. Hope we all learn to share and love, and make compassion our habit – and keep bringing joy in someone’s life everyday!
