CECC Holds Hearing on Hong Kong Legal System

The Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) holds a hearing on Hong Kong’s legal system, its political prisoners, and the erosion of the rule of law at 10:00 a.m. ET on May 11.

Sebastien Lai, son of political prisoner Jimmy Lai; Brian Kern, writer, researcher, and activist; Kevin Yam, senior fellow, Center for Asian Law, Georgetown University; and Anna Kwok, executive director of Hong Kong Democracy Council, will testify.
