Lords Reject Government Immigration Bill

The House of Lords has rejected government plans to change immigration law. Over 20 groups have been protesting against the proposed bill, which would’ve allowed UK authorities to revoke a person’s British citizenship without warning. The Lords called this power unjust and successfully voted to remove it from the bill.
