Maine Medical Board Holds Hearing on Suspension of Dr. Meryl Nass’s License (March 2)

Live Chat

The Maine Medical Board hearing on the licensure of Dr. Meryl Nass continues on March 2 from 9:00 a.m. ET.

The board suspended Nass on Jan. 12, 2021, with no hearing. They accused Nass, a scientific advisory board member of Children’s Health Defense, of “unprofessional” and “disruptive” behavior based on her public criticism of government COVID-19 policies and early treatment of COVID-19. But on Sept. 26, 2022, the board withdrew six accusations alleging misinformation against Nass, then withdrew more misinformation allegations on Sept. 30, 2022. As of now, the Board has dropped all charges regarding “misinformation” and kept only the accusation of prescribing hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and record-keeping issues.
