This endearing scene occurred in front of a group of Indian cyclists when a mother elephant used her trunk to gently assist her calf over a roadside barrier.
The mother elephant and another young elephant, larger than the calf, climbed the barrier with ease, but the baby elephant struggles for almost a minute to get over it in the video.
Truck drivers and cyclists wait patiently until the calf is safely over the barrier.
