Near the top of the most dangerous hobbies a person can have: ingesting nails and broken ceramic pieces. This 49-year-old Chinese man is called the ‘Incredible Human Munching Machine’. He’s able to use just a glass of water to swallow ceramic shards as well as sharp metal nails in one piece.
However dangerous his hobby may be, Mr. Yunsheng Long has been doing it for already 30 years – beginning at the young age of 17, when a circus performer taught him how to swallow metal nails. At least he has plenty of iron in his diet, I guess you might say. Mr. Long can also eat bits of porcelain, munch on glass or even eat ceramic tiles.
