A young London resident may have lost his entire family in the London high-rise blaze. He sat with members of his extended family as he sought news on their whereabouts.
London resident Mohammed Hakim expressed his sadness and frustration.
“Not losing one member of my family but losing all five, the whole entire family. I don’t have my parents anymore and you only get one set of parents in this world and I had three siblings. They are all gone in the space of a couple of hours after leaving their house, they’re all gone. And no one wants to give us any information about where their whereabouts are, if they are still within the building or not,” he said.
Yesterday’s early morning London fire claimed a 24-story apartment tower.
Seventeen people are confirmed dead so far. The investigation is ongoing as many search for their loved ones.
