There is something comedic in watching a hippo eat a whole melon, but cute and harmless as the tiny hippo may look their bite is one of the strongest on earth.
Oddly enough hippos are actually herbivores, though they are counted among the top 10 most dangerous animals in the world. They are particularly deadly during mating season, and are under the influence of heightened testosterone levels. During this time they tend not to be selective in what they do with their huge teeth.
