Man Shot in Upper West Side Manhattan, Suspect Found Dead

A shooting in Manhattan has left at least one person—a construction worker—dead.

The incident took place on West 59th Street and 11th Avenue. Witnesses said that shooting took place on the 39th floor of a building, according to MailOnline.

Police sources told the New York Post that the gunman killed himself afterward.

The victim was identified as a construction foreman.

Police officers were seen swarming the area and evacuating workers.

Other workers said that the suspect was a disgruntled former employee who had been fired days ago.

Other details were not made immediately clear.
