A video of a 53-year-old man with Down syndrome kissing his 88-year-old father at the Los Angeles International Airport has gone viral.

The younger man, Matt Cobrink, was invited to New York City to see his favorite baseball player, Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, and he left his Los Angeles home for almost a week.

According to People, Cobrink had no choice but to leave his father for the trip, which rarely happens since Cobrink’s mother passed away 25 years ago.

On Aug. 12, Cobrink flew back from New York City, and his sister captured the priceless moment when Cobrink saw his father waiting at the airport.

In the video, Cobrink is seen rushing toward his father after he took the escalators down at LAX. He hugged and kissed his father on the cheek dozens of times right away.

The heartwarming video has been liked by more than 134,000 people, shared over 187,000 times, and comments flooded in from over 20,000 people, many of whom were brought to tears by the actions of the duo.

During People’s interview with sister Marcy Cobrink Mayer, she expressed her gratitude for witnessing such a beautiful family moment—the love between father and son. She said that other people have also been sending pictures of their own kids with Down syndrome.

“It gives them hope for their children, or they have a cousin who has Down syndrome. And it’s so nice to see something that’s happy instead of things that are negative,” she said.

Homecoming doesn’t get better than this. I think my brother missed my father after 5 days in NYC with my sister. ❤️✈️?⚾️
