Police in Maryland are on the lookout for a man who stole a backhoe to dig up an ATM but only succeeded in making a mess.
The man stole a backhoe, thinking he could use it to rob an ATM.
He backed up to an ATM in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on June 1, and did his best to tear open the cash machine.
Despite his best efforts, he failed to do anything but damage. He smashed the machine to pieces, but could not get at the cash.
After doing $10,000 in damage, he drove away empty-handed.
