Manchester residents are lining up to donate blood to victims of yesterday’s terror attack.
Manchester resident Rosie Bentley spoke about why she came out to give blood.
“I heard the news this morning when I woke up. And I’ve lived in Manchester for just over a year. My heart breaks for the people, and I just thought – what can I do? And I listened to the radio and they said that people are calling for blood and I’ve got a blood type that they are asking for so I just got straight down here,” she said.
A bomb exploded at the end of an Ariana Grande concert killing 22 people in Manchester Arena yesterday. Scores of young fans were injured in the panic that followed the blasts.
Shrapnel attached to the bomb flew outward, leaving many with deep wounds. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
