Manchester’s Victoria Station open again after bomb attack

Victoria Station, which adjoins the Manchester Arena, is open for business.

The rail station has been closed since the bomb attack at the Ariana Grande concert.

A suicide bomber killed 22 people on May 22, after the concert let out. More than 100 were injured.

Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, called it an important step.

“This is an incredibly important milestone this morning,” he said. “This is a sign that life goes on.

“The city is returning to a form of normality.”
