Officials are searching for an armed and dangerous man after a shooting left three people dead in a Gardendale, Alabama, mobile home on the morning of Wednesday, July 12.

Gardendale police released a photo of a potential suspect, telling residents to stay indoors while they searched for the man. A shelter in place was called for Peach Tree community along Glenn Chapel Rd. and Willow Bend Dr.

Kenneth Dion Lever, 52, of Florida, is being sought by police, who described him as “armed and dangerous,” according to the Gardendale Police Department’s Facebook page.

“Gardendale Police Department is looking for Kenneth Dion Lever w/m 51, 5’10”, 220, blu, bro, 6-15-65. If you see this individual do not approach and call 9-1-1. He is considered armed and dangerous,” the Facebook post reads.

It added that he’s believed to be driving a 2007 Lincoln Navigator with a Florida license number 689NFN.
