Fake plastic rice – really? This is a recent phenomenon that has been making its rounds on the internet. Is it true? We’re sorry to report that yes, indeed it is true. This fake rice mixed with ordinary rice makes the “plastic” rice undetectable. The “rice” is made of potatoes and industrial synthetic resin. It has been exported to Asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India. The plastic rice creates a film-like top when cooked, and remains hard as well.

This same manufacturer from South Korea was caught making ‘cure-all pills’ which were, as it turned out, made up of 99% human flesh. The same company has been caught extricating gutter oils (waste oil collected from restaurant fryers, sewer drains, grease traps and slaughterhouses, etc…) and converting them into cooking oils.

Ingesting plastic and/or waste oils can cause serious health issues, needless to say. Buyer beware.
