Marine Corps Band and Silent Drill Platoon Celebrate Current and Former Service Members in Times Square Event

The Marine Corps Band and Silent Drill Platoon kicked off Fleet Week in an event in Times Square Wednesday that celebrated both current and former service members. Their performances demonstrated core values of discipline, camaraderie, and service. NYC’s 36th Fleet Week celebrates maritime service members and gives the public a chance to meet and learn more about the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Events this year will run from May 22 to 28.
