He’s taught in Confucius Institutes, partnerships between universities and schools in China and abroad, often known to promote Communist principals and ideology, and is a strong supporter of China’s Belt and Road initiative, an infrastructure program that sends funding to poorer countries, while also expanding China’s influence and control overseas.
