Maryland Judge Tosses State Redistricting Map

In Maryland, the state legislature has one more day to redraw its congressional district map. That’s after a state court judge rejected the map on Friday—for what he calls  “extreme partisan gerrymandering.” And an expert says challenges to redistricting maps are on the rise across the country.
