Fears over the Indian virus variant are still on the rise. This comes as authorities conduct mass testing in South China’s Guangdong Province.
Several days ago, a woman infected with the Indian variant went to Guangdong. Soon after, authorities classified her local area as a medium-risk region. Schools are reportedly closed. Officials started a round of mass testing, and they already tested over 500,000 people as of Thursday.
