House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) criticized the Biden administration for the bankruptcies of several major banks on March 19, the first day of the 2023 House GOP’s retreat.
“The real culprit of all of this that put jeopardy into this, is the spending that the Democrats did that brought us inflation,” McCarthy said.
