Mckinsey to Pay Nearly $600 Million Over Opioids

One of the world’s largest consulting firms, McKinsey, has agreed to pay over half a billion dollars in a settlement. It’s for its alleged role in “turbocharging” sales of opioids, fueling the nationwide overdose crisis. It’s the first time a consulting firm’s been caught up in the litigation.
