Associate Professor Wilfed Reilly, from Kentucky State University, is known for asking unpopular questions and rooting out actual facts to answer them.
As a political scientist, he has closely studied the question of police racism,
and talks about it in his latest book, “Taboo: 10 Facts You Can’t Talk About,” the first chapter of which is called “Taboo Obvious Fact #1: The Police Aren’t Murdering Black People.”
So amid the growing calls by activists to abolish the police, we ask for his input on the true nature of the problem and possible solutions.
