Medical Tech President Guilty of $77 Million Scheme

Not long after Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, was convicted of fraud, another trial has recently reached a verdict in a case that had some striking similarities. A federal jury convicted the president of a Silicon Valley-based medical technology company of participating in a scheme to defraud clients for COVID-19 and allergy testing.
