He is a year-and-half old mini pig living in Taylors, SC with his owner Max DiNatale.
Pickles days consist of playful baths, excited walks along the Reedy River, hanging out at O-CHA tea bar and having his back rubbed with a fork. No, Pickle doesn’t have thumbs to post himself, but he sure makes up for it with his adorable poses that have gained him almost 15 thousand Instagram followers.
So much so, he totes around business cards and is signed to an animal model agency. Daily occurrences for a human like snacking on a soft-serve cone have gained him national attention on ABC News, Huffington Post, and the Daily Telegraph. But it’s not all fun and games. Because his skin is sensitive, he has to wear sunscreen when outdoors and lather on the lotion after a bath.
This weekend, Greenville News photographer Lauren Petracca spent some time with Pickle and his best friend. In their walk through Falls Park, he was recognized from his internet fame. The best part? Lauren now knows how to give a pig a bath.
