Cinco de Mayo symbolizes the war where Mexico overcame French forces. It happened 155 years ago on May 5.

Every around May 5 Mexicans in Mexico and around the world take part in festivities like this. Some wear the historical attire of Mexican troops. Some wear clothes representing French forces, and celebrate Mexican pride.
